Positive Thinking: Mind Over Matter

Idea of Positive Thinking is not new in the Blogoshphere of Personal Development. It has been around for a long time. Main theme on which positive thinking is based is as:
Our thoughts control our bodily actions and in turn our actions are responsible, to a large extent, for our results. I am reading this post, because I accepted a thought of reading this post. All else, is the natural consequence of accepting this thought. This is true for all of our actions and their consequent results.
Thanks God, we are not slaves of our thoughts, rather we have power to consciously select our thoughts. This is a great power indeed, if exercised properly. So instead of just letting our mind to randomly cycle through the different thoughts over and over, we can push our mind to spend time over selected thoughts. If we are able to do it consistently over longer period of time, we will be able to shift our actions in new directions and as a result get new results. Thus, if you want to study now, focus on thoughts which push you to study and avoid thoughts which distract you from study. Similarly, if you want to run your online business concentrate on thoughts which motivate you to online business and turn a deaf eye to thoughts which brings your morale down.
